The product 'corrugated board box' represents a box made of corrugated board. Corrugated board consist of different types of containerboards, namely linerboard and fluting medium. Linerboard is a flat layer of board, which can be further distinguished in kraftliner and testliner, depending on whether it is of virgin or recycled origin, respectively. Fluting medium is the corrugated middle layer between a top and bottom layer of linerboard. Together all three layers constitute corrugated board. To produce corrugated board boxes, the corrugated board is cut into sheets, printed, slotted, folded, and glued. Corrugated board boxes are used for the packaging of products for protection and transportation.
